My dog Marshall.... He's a great dog... He's getting old though.. He can't hear very well anymore, and he can't see too well either, but he gives great hugs!

We met with my dad's cousin for lunch at the Rainforest Cafe today... I've actually never met them before, but they live in San Antonio, so we plan to see a lot more of them now! Pictured here from top left to bottom right is: Michael, Semalee, Terry, Irma, James, Gregory, Auston, Elise, and Tessa (with Jackie the dog)

This is an alligator. We went to Brazos Bend State Park because it was warm out and I was hoping we would see some alligators. We saw several, at least 7 or 8, 4 of them being over 6 feet long. Alligators live in the park and are in the water all through the park. They really won't bother people unless they feel threatened or they see food. It is a truly awesome experience to be with them in their habitat instead of them being behind a fence in a pretend habitat in the zoo. This guy was about 4 feet long and he was about 5 or 6 feet away from us in the water. Cool, huh?
I had to add the following photo because I couldn't decide. It's a picture of me and my dad with the kids by the tree I always take a picture by every time we go to this park.

This is a picture of two things that are pretty important to me. The ceramic tree belonged to my grandparents. They actually only put this tree up every year when I was growing up. When my dad moved this fall he had it and was going to throw it away. I'm so glad I caught him, because I love it!! The Ebeneezer Scrooge nutcracker was a Christmas gift many many years ago from one of my dearest friends, Jeremy. It used to have glasses and a scarf... I'm not sure what happened to those, but still a cool nutcracker from a cool guy :)
